How does CEREC work?

With 4 simple steps your porcelain crown is ready in a single appointment.

Step 1 – Scanning

When the dental piece is lowered, the area is scanned to create the process digitally and to perform the design of the virtual piece.

Step 4 – Cementation and Final Result

Once baked, the piece can be cemented in the mouth, managing to finish the dental crown.

Step 2 – Milling Machine

Once the virtual design is finished, the information to be prepared in the milling machine is sent using aspecific porcelain cube, which wears out with the milling machine until the design that was sent is achieved.

Step 3 – Dental Baking

Finishing the milling of the piece is placed in the oven to give it its final strength, functionality and aesthetics.
